5 Things I Wish Someone Had Told Me Before I Had My Car Detailed
One: My car was really, really dirty
In my defence I am a busy person. Breakfast, school run, work, school run, sports, dinner, tidy up, bed, sleep start over.
I never seem to have the time to spend on cleaning my car, especially the interior that takes a hammering. I did manage to drive through the occasional car wash which looked ok for about an hour and then the dust and road dirt landed on the wet body and the windows dried streaked.
Why wasn’t I told by those around me that my car was so dirty?

Since I experienced my first car detail I have loved being in my car and I consciously [even enjoy] trying to keep it tidy .. ‘take your mess with you when you get out’ .. ‘do be careful with that coffee’.. and best of all ‘please kick the dirt off your boots when you get in’.

There used to be a bit of a stigma attached to having domestic jobs done for you – think ‘upstairs downstairs’ – and that only the rich could afford to employ staff to work for them. Not today !

My intial call to the Jim’s Call Centre was such a great experience. The call was answered quickly by the team in Melbourne, they explained some of the services and typical prices and offered to connect me with my local Jim who would return my call within 2 hours.
Less than 10 minutes later I received that call and was impressed to be speaking with someone who listened to what I needed and then made some suggestions as to how that would be achieved and at what price.
The booking was scheduled at a time and location that suited me. Why wasn’t I told that the folks from Jim’s were lovely to deal with?
