What is a Disinfecting Clean?
This service will have our trained cleaners disinfecting residential and commercial properties with hospital-grade disinfectants. All of our cleaners are currently using products that breakdown and remove bacteria and viruses, as research shows that one of the most effective products in breaking down bacteria and viruses is soap! Soap’s ability to break down virus’s outer fatty layer makes it harder for viruses to survive on surfaces as well as makes it easier to wash away. Our cleaners will continue to use soap-based products as they normally would as well the hospital-grade disinfectant for an extra level of protection.
Our disinfecting service can be an additional service on top of your home or business’ regular clean or you can have this as a stand-alone service.
How is our disinfectant service different from our normal cleaning service?
Normal clean – Our cleaners use their professional-grade products throughout your home and commercial properties. Using soap-based products that are effective in removing bacteria and viruses as well as a range of soap-free and surface-specific cleaners. Our professional cleaners clean to a list provided by each client or if no list is provided, they will clean to the industry-standard ensuring all surfaces are left spotless.
Disinfectant clean – This service is an upgrade you can add to your normal clean or you can have it as a stand-alone service. Our cleaners will arrive with hospital-grade disinfectant as well as all their regular cleaning products. This clean includes the disinfecting of high contact areas to ensure most if not all bacteria, viruses, and microorganisms are removed. High contact areas include door handles, light switches, remotes, home/office phone, kitchen appliances, taps, etc.
If you would like to receive our disinfecting service as a stand-alone service, please ensure all areas that are to be disinfected are clean and tidy. Prior to any disinfecting, the surface in question must be clean of all dirt, grime, and other objects.
While our regular cleaning services are effective at removing dirt, grime and germs from your home or office our new disinfecting service is here to give you an extra layer of protection against disease-causing organisms.
Jim’s Carpet Cleaning also provides a disinfecting treatment with their regular carpet cleaning services to ensure your home and or business is germ free.
Regular disinfecting
No two properties are the same, that’s why we offer tailored cleaning and disinfecting packages to suit your needs. Whether you need a clean weekly, fortnightly, monthly or every couple of days we are here to help!
Some clients do not require a disinfecting clean each visit so if you only require a disinfectant clean every second visit or so forth just let your franchisee know and they will be happy to accommodate you.

Jim’s Work guarantee
Your home is your pride and joy, that’s why every job comes with the Jim’s Work Guarantee. This guarantee is unlimited for work done by Jim’s Group Franchisees, and up to the posted limit for independent contractors.
- If you are not satisfied with the job, we will inspect it and have any problems fixed. If we believe the job is good and you do not, we will jointly agree on an independent expert to provide a report at our expense, and fix any problems found. Until this is done, you need not pay for the job. If problems are not fixed within a fortnight, any advance will be refunded.
- Only if no problems are found by the expert, will you be asked to pay the agreed price for the job and half the cost of the report.
- If the job is done to get your bond back on leaving a rental property, the job is only good when the agent or landlord is satisfied.
- If payment is made in advance and the job not done, the payment will be refunded.

Police Checked
A police check is issued as an official document to verify a background check by police or government agency to enumerate any criminal records a service provider may have.

$1,000,000 Work Guarantee
This guarantee is up to one million dollars for work done by Jim's Group Franchisees.
